The Academy has sent a letter to the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Office offering its support in addressing the significant health care issues and challenges facing the country. National Human Genome Research Institute Invites Comments From PAs

What is the future of human genome research and how does it relate to clinical practice? The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) has embarked on a long-range planning process to discover the answer to those questions. To start that conversation, NHGRI is inviting PAs to review and comment on three white papers: diagnostics, preventive medicine, and pharmacogenomics; therapeutics; and education and community engagement. One Year Later: An Inside Look at the Army PA Doctoral Program

AAPA News talks to the first PAs to earn a degree from the Army's PA-specific clinical doctoral program, as well as military and Baylor University officials, one year later.
