Lynn Schoenfelder has been a human resources professional for over 25 years, and she earned the professional certification, Senior Professional in Human Resources. She has been with AAPA for 8 years. The human resources division has a staff of 3: vice president, senior manager, and administrative floater. Schoenfelder's role at AAPA is to help the management team achieve its goals by developing sound human resources policies and practices. She also serves as the staff advisor for the Committee on Diversity.
Prior to joining AAPA, Schoenfelder had a career with Mobil Corporation. During her tenure, she was promoted through a wide range of human resources roles including leadership development and coaching. Schoenfelder has a Bachelor's degree in liberal arts from Montclair State College in Montclair, New Jersey. She achieved the level, Competent Toastmaster with Toastmaster's International.
