Key Results
The
Student Academy Board of Directors and Regional Chairs met for Leadership
Summit in Alexandria, Virginia at the end of July. During this meeting,
they will develop the key results for SAAAPA to work on for the 2007-2008
year, based on the input from the Assembly of Representatives (AOR)
meeting in Philadelphia this past May.
Student
Academy Key Results 2007-2008
- Increase AAPA
recognition and utilization of student resources in the mission of
the Academy and service to the profession.
- Enhance collaborative
efforts with student health care professional organizations.
- Encourage PA
students to take ownership of their profession and responsibility
for their education.
- Promote student
participation at the local, state, regional, and national levels.
- Promote the
PA profession through enhanced external relationships.
- Further student
awareness of national and international health care issues.
- Create initiatives
to enhance cultural competence
- Cultivate interaction
and communication between SAAAPA leadership and PA students.
