The American Academy of Physician Assistants is pleased to announce the Chapter Product Theater Series (CPTS) program. Through this program, AAPA provides an opportunity for your chapter to have a speaker on a variety of topics. Please note that the specific topic and the speakers have been determined and selected by the pharmaceutical company that provides the support. As such, the CPTS sessions are not approved for CME credit and may well be promotional in nature. Also note carefully the language included in the "Acknowledgement" section for each topic. Any listing of or reference to these sessions must include this text.
In order to take advantage of this opportunity, you must ensure that the CPTS session includes breakfast, lunch, or dinner and that the CPTS session is being held at the optimal time for peak attendance. For each presentation that your organization selects, AAPA will provide support of up to $1,000 for logistical arrangements (i.e. audio-visual), plus food and beverage costs for up to $30 per person up to a total of $15,000 (inclusive of tax and gratuity). To receive this support, your organization must provide AAPA a receipt for the actual food and beverage costs, as well as a list of PAs who attend this session. We suggest that you print a complete list of all conference attendees and have those PAs who attend this CPTS presentation check-off their names. NOTE: this list must be provided by AAPA to the company providing support for these sessions into meet industry regulatory requirements.
