Pearls
-- studying for boards
Study like someone’s life depended on it – one day it might.
At the end of the day, being a good person is more important that being
a good student.
Grades are not as important as understanding the material.
Specifically study for boards one hour per week during your clinical
year. It will make studying at the end much less
hectic.
If you are able, spend 2-3 weeks before boards in concentrated studying...doing
nothing but studying. It won't be
fun, but it will go fast and you will pass.
Study from multiple study guides.
Do many practice questions. The APAP study guide offers a CD with
a great set of quizzes.
Try to attend a board review session put on by your school or another
CME approved source.
Relax; you know more than you think.
Follow the blueprint on the NCCPA website.
