Funding
is available for recognized AOR/HOD student representatives, in the
form of travel grants, to attend the AAPA's Annual PA Conference. Funding
may be used for travel, lodging, and/or meals, following AAPA travel
reimbursement guidelines. The number of travel grants awarded each year
will vary based on available funds.
Entry/Nomination
Procedures
Any
AAPA student member who is a recognized AOR or HOD representative from
his/her registered student society may apply. Completed applications
are due January 15 (not postmarked). Incomplete applications will not
be reviewed and completed applications must include both verification
letters.
Judging
Procedures
The
SAAAPA Board of Directors determines funding grants during its spring
meeting. All funding applicants will be notified in writing of the decisions.
Funds are based on financial need, current and potential leadership
activity, and special needs of the student society.
