From Program To Practice Resource - Online Now!

The 2009 copy of "From Program to Practice" is now available on the 'Current Students' section of the Web site. This excellent educational resource - developed by AAPA and provided to students for free - is a great resource to provide students with a wealth of information regarding the PA profession, what to expect upon graduation, tools and resources, along with data sheets regarding salary, insurance, and other useful metrics. 2009-2010 Student Society Handbook Now Available

Whether you are an existing student society looking for more information or a new program looking to join the Student Academy of AAPA, the Student Society Handbook can provide important imformation on how to run and maintain a society. Have you been to the Student Academy of AAPA Facebook page lately? If you haven't, you have probably missed all the great resources we are rolling out for student PAs. Some of the useful tools we've posted recently include an events calendar application, discussion groups with your regional SAAAPA leaders, along with notes full of important information specifically tailored to the lifestyles of busy medical students. Get Involved With Your SAAAPA Leaders!

Students often forget they have a voice and representation with national PAs and the medical community at large through their elected student leaders. If you have a great idea, community program, or just want to be more involved with the PA profession and have been looking for the right outlet, along with some help passing the information up to a more authoritative body, your SAAAPA leaders are elected to serve you and help in such endeavors.
